Cyprus Airways welcomes its new Airbus A220-300, calling it “a modern technological marvel that combines comfort, innovation, and environmental awareness.”

According to the company’s announcement, the new aircraft offers a quieter, more spacious, and technologically advanced flight experience, featuring USB charging ports, wider seats, larger windows, and ultra-low noise levels. At the same time, it is noted to be among the most efficient aircraft in the world, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 25% and drastically cutting noise pollution.

Thanos Pascalis, CEO of Cyprus Airways, stated: “As the national carrier of Cyprus, we are deeply aware of our responsibility to the people and the environment of our island. This aircraft respects Cyprus—it consumes less fuel, emits fewer pollutants, and produces less noise than traditional aircraft. It contributes to a greener, cleaner homeland for all of us.”
