The 2025 Cyprus Diaspora Forum, held from May 7 to May 10, wrapped up with resounding success, reaffirming its role as a global bridge connecting Cypriots across continents. Hosted in Limassol, the four-day flagship event, founded by Paul Lambis, offered a vibrant platform for discussion, networking, and recognition, spotlighting the contributions of Cypriots living abroad while reinforcing Cyprus’s role as a dynamic international player.

As one of the Forum’s media partners, FastForward witnessed firsthand how the event surpassed expectations. With over 30 panel discussions, multiple workshops, pitching events, and the prestigious CYDIA Awards gala, the Forum attracted local leaders, international investors, talented diasporans, startup founders, and policy shapers from around the globe.

The Forum served as a launchpad for groundbreaking ideas and international partnerships. Pitching events hosted by organisations like Cyprus Seeds and RCX Global showcased investment-ready ventures across key sectors—from biotech to equity fund management. Workshops led by global leaders and entrepreneurs like Talia McKinney of SERHANT. and Sophia Petrides provided practical tools for career growth, brand development, and navigating modern business challenges.

The presence of foreign investors underlined growing international interest in Cyprus’s business potential, particularly in real estate, fintech, and sustainability.
