Cyprus Advertisers Association Elects New Board for 2024-2026 Term

Lefteris Athanasiou Re-elected as President, Vows Continued Growth

During its recent General Assembly, the Cyprus Advertisers Association elected a new Board of Directors. Lefteris Athanasiou (Epic) was re-elected as President of the Cyprus Advertisers Association for a second consecutive term, continuing his leadership for the next two years.

Sofia Tsene (Zorbas) was appointed Vice President, Danae Nikolaou (Cyta) as Secretary, and Tina Gavrielides (IPH) as Treasurer. Other board members include: Constantinos Ananiadis (Unicars), Alexia Makridou (HIO), Elpida Louka-Michaelides (CNP), Emilia Orphanidou (Universal Life), and Sotiroula Sotiriou (Charalambides Christis).

Lefteris Athanasiou expressed his gratitude, stating: “I would like to sincerely thank the members of the Cyprus Advertisers Association for their trust and for re-electing me as President. Over the past two years, we have implemented several changes within the Association, primarily aiming to be more outward-looking, offer more advanced training to our members, and take a more dynamic approach to issues affecting our industry. The members have confirmed that we are on the right track. I believe that over the next two years, we will become even more active and offer even greater value to more members.”

The Cyprus Advertisers Association is a non-profit organization representing businesses that advertise in Cyprus. It has been a member of the World Federation of Advertisers since 2004. The Association’s vision is to create a healthy and growth-oriented commercial environment where brands can stand out and build trusting and transparent relationships with consumers and other stakeholders.
