The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA) was held on December 5, 2023, at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Kostas Koumis, and the Director of Services, Commerce, and Digitization Department at CCCI, Mr. Christos Petsides (representing CCCI President Mr. Stavros Stavrou), delivered greetings at the assembly.

During the Annual General Assembly, which also served as an election, the following Board of Directors was elected for the 2023-2026 term and will be formally constituted at the next meeting on December 12, 2023:

• Marios Sokratis - B.B. Meeting Point Cyprus Holidays Ltd

• Nikolas Christofi – Xenos Travel by Royal Holidays

• Pambos Charalambous – Louis Travel Ltd

• Haris Papacharalambous - MTS Globe Cyprus Ltd

• Christos Asprou - MTS Summertimes Travel Ltd

• Christos Christou – Amathus Corporation Ltd

Mr. Haris Papacharalambous was elected as the new President of ACTA.

Additionally, during the General Assembly, awards were presented. The former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Savvas Perdios, was honored for his contributions to tourism, and the former President of the Association, Mr. Vasilis Stamatari, was recognized for his service to ACTA.
