Remedica Announces Leadership Change

Michalis Neoptolemou Steps Down as Remedica Embarks on Next Phase of Growth

Remedica today announced the departure of its Managing Director, Dr. Michalis Neoptolemou. Dr. Neoptolemou leaves with the deepest gratitude of the company, having been a key part of Remedica's exceptionally successful journey over the past decade.

Joining the company in 2014, he served as Managing Director since 2019. He transformed Remedica from a family business into an international company with a presence in over 100 countries. Under his leadership, Remedica significantly expanded its product range and made substantial investments in its production capabilities. He safely guided the company through two changes in ownership – initially from family ownership to a South African group, and subsequently returning Remedica to private ownership based in Cyprus, supported by international investors with a long-term commitment to growth, innovation, and investment. Today, Remedica is one of Cyprus's largest exporters and is recognized for its quality and exceptional services.

This change is being made to shape Remedica for its next stage of development. The foundations for this have already been laid: over the last two years, Remedica has initiated the largest investment program in its history, investing in new product development and expanded production capabilities. The Board of Directors and the executive leadership team will ensure business continuity and remain committed to development and innovation.
