Software Procurement is Broken; Procufly Aims to Lead the Change
Procufly Cofounder Iasonas Michailidis Speaks About Simplifying Software Procurement, Building Strong Partnerships, and Empowering Businesses Globally
Buying software for your business has become a tedious task. Think of the time it takes to perform market research, speak with salespeople, negotiate massive contracts, and navigate through confusing pricing structures. Worldwide IT spending is expected to total $5 trillion in 2025, a 6% year-over-year increase, and many companies struggle to control these expenses. According to Iasonas Michailidis, co-founder of Procufly, whom we had the pleasure to interview, Procufly’s mission is to become the only software vendor you will ever need by managing your entire procurement process.
From simplifying complex software purchasing to building strong partnerships with over 80 providers, Iasonas explains how Procufly stands out in a crowded market. He also discusses the importance of personalized service, how the company overcame early credibility challenges, and his vision for making Procufly a global leader in the B2B software space—all while empowering businesses of all sizes with the right tools to succeed.
I have always been passionate about helping businesses find the right tools to grow. During my experience working with various companies, I noticed that software procurement was often time-consuming, inefficient, and costly. Businesses would struggle to find the right solutions that fit their needs and budget. That’s when the idea of Procufly came to life. I wanted to build a service that not only offers a wide range of software but also provides guidance and support throughout the purchasing journey.
We aim to solve two key problems: complexity and inefficiency in software procurement. Many companies face difficulties in choosing from the vast array of software options available today. They may also lack the technical knowledge to choose the most suitable products for their needs.

We simplify this process by offering curated solutions, consultations, and end-to-end support. Additionally, our goal is to help businesses save time and money by having a single contract, invoice and contact person for their entire tech stack. Your legal and finance teams would love us!
Procufly stands out by focusing on personalized service and ongoing support. We don’t just sell software; we collaborate closely with our clients to understand their needs and recommend solutions that fit their goals. Our team stays updated on the latest developments in the tech industry, enabling us to offer the most relevant and effective products. Moreover, our partnerships with 80+ software providers such as Microsoft, Gitlab, Pipedrive, Monday and Splunk allow us to offer competitive pricing and exclusive deals to our clients.
One of the initial challenges was establishing credibility in a competitive market. We overcame this by leveraging our expertise, building strong partnerships with reputable software providers, and focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We also had to streamline our operations to scale efficiently, which required a lot of planning and refining of our processes. Staying agile and committed to our mission helped us navigate these challenges.
My vision for Procufly is to become a trusted leader in the B2B software procurement space in Cyprus and abroad. We plan to expand our portfolio of software offerings and build stronger partnerships with industry-leading providers. At the same time, we want to invest in our customer support team and technological infrastructure to enhance our clients’ experience by providing 24/7 assistance. Ultimately, we aim to empower businesses of all sizes by giving them access to the best tools and resources to thrive, without the complications and hussle.
