UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Cyprus, María Ángela Holguín, is returning to Cyprus next week and will hold meetings with the two leaders on Tuesday, 27 January, UN Representative in Cyprus Alim Siddiq told the Cyprus News Agency.

According to Mr Siddiq, the meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., followed by a meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman at 2:00 p.m. No additional meetings have been confirmed at this stage, he concluded.

Meanwhile, CNA has learned that President Christodoulides has expressed his wish for a joint meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader and Ms Holguín.
