The visit of the Turkish Cypriot leader to Ankara has been officially announced.

According to a post by the Head of Communications of the Turkish Presidency, the visit will take place next Thursday, November 13, following an invitation by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

This will mark Erhürman’s first official trip abroad since assuming leadership of the Turkish Cypriot community.

The statement notes that during the visit, “current developments concerning the Cyprus issue will be evaluated.”

It also adds that relations between Turkey and the 'TRNC' will be examined in all their dimensions.
