Vote Abroad in 2026: Polling Stations Confirmed for Cyprus Parliamentary Elections 2026
Registration open until 2 April for voters wishing to vote abroad.
Polling stations abroad will operate for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections on 24 May 2026 for voters who are already registered in the electoral roll or who will register by 2 April 2026, the Ministry of Interior announced.
According to the announcement, in order to enable the operation of polling stations abroad, a special electoral register is compiled. This register includes the details of registered voters transferred from Cyprus’s permanent electoral roll, following a relevant declaration submitted by interested voters during the final quarterly revision of the electoral roll prior to the elections, namely from 3 January 2026 to 2 April 2026.
It is further noted that, under existing electoral legislation, polling stations abroad may operate in cities where at least 30 voters from each electoral district submit expressions of interest. Based on current data, polling stations are expected to operate in Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, London, Manchester, and Brussels.
The submission of the declaration form for exercising the right to vote at a polling station abroad can be made either electronically via the website aps.elections.moi.gov.cy, or in printed form at the Republic’s Embassies and Consulates abroad, District Administration Offices, Citizen Service Centres, Citizen Centres of the Cyprus Post, and the Ministry of Interior.
Declaration forms can also be obtained from the above locations as well as from the official elections website www.elections.gov.cy, the announcement concludes.
