The inaugural TechIsland Awards ceremony, held in Limassol, honored trailblazers who have made a remarkable difference in the tech and innovation sectors in Cyprus. Organized by the TechIsland Association, the awards program recognizes entities and individuals that have made significant strides in advancing Cyprus as a global tech hub.

Founded earlier this year, the TechIsland Awards are an integral part of the association's mission since its establishment in 2021. The association aims to position Cyprus as a premier destination for world-class tech talent. These awards are an essential step in realizing that vision by celebrating those who have elevated the island's tech community's status.

With only the TechIsland Association members having the privilege to nominate, it ensures that the selection process remains impartial. The ultimate decision lies in the hands of the TechIsland board, consisting of seasoned experts in the industry.

• Reflect Festival, recognized as the IT Ambassador.

• RSL Revolutionary Labs Ltd, which clinched the Rising Star award.

• The Civil Registry and Migration Department, which bagged the Game Changer prize.

• TheSoul Publishing was hailed as the Role Model of the Year.

• The Island Private School of Limassol, which was celebrated as the Future Shaper.

• City Friends Club, which earned the Impact Driver prize.

• And, Alexey Gubarev, who was bestowed with the prestigious Thought Leader of the Year award.
