The Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy has announced an open tender titled "Purchase of 'Connectivity and Management of the CY SMART CITY PLATFORM, integration of existing solutions from individual Municipalities and development of three vertical solutions and applications'".

According to a statement by the Deputy Ministry, as reported by the Press and Information Office (PIO), "the tender concerns the operation and management of Cyprus's smart city platform, including the installation, interconnection, and operation of sensors."

"More specifically, it relates to modernizing cities through innovative, sustainable, and functional solutions that will provide smart services to the citizens of the Municipalities and Communities of Cyprus," the announcement adds.

The tender details and terms can be found on the website of the Electronic System for Contracting (e-procurement), and any questions can only be submitted through this website.

The final deadline for submitting bids or participation applications is January 12, 2024.

The project is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, concludes the announcement.
