AI Digital Assistant Expands Citizen Services on gov.cy

New Features Improve Public Interaction with Government Benefits

The capabilities of the AI-powered Digital Assistant on the gov.cy portal have been expanded, making citizen interactions with public services even more efficient, according to a statement from the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy.

The Digital Assistant can now respond to inquiries regarding various social benefits provided by the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.

The latest update includes additional topics related to social benefits, allowing citizens to receive automated assistance for:

  • Allowance for Mothers of Large Families
  • Subsidy for Children's Tuition Fees
  • Maternity Grant for Unmarried Mothers
  • Single-Parent Family Allowance
  • Grant for World War II Veterans
  • Grant for Widows of WWII Veterans
  • Allowance for Low-Income Pensioners
  • Care Assistance for Captives and War Victims of 1974
  • Child Benefit
  • Guaranteed Minimum Income
  • Subsidized Accommodation and Care for the Elderly
