Cyprus-Based Bolsterup Raises €500,000 to Fuel AI-Driven Expansion in Construction Tech
With Uni.Fund leading the round, the startup aims to bring digital transformation to the construction sector across the Middle East.
Bolsterup, a digital platform designed to connect stakeholders in the construction industry, has secured €500,000 in fresh funding, with Greek venture capital firm Uni.Fund leading the investment round. This funding milestone is set to fast-track the company’s expansion in the United Arab Emirates and the broader Middle East region, while also enhancing its AI-powered infrastructure.
Founded just a year ago, Bolsterup has already gained traction in markets such as Cyprus, Greece, and the UAE, with a subscriber base of over 400 clients and an annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding €200,000. The platform offers advanced smart matchmaking capabilities that link demand and supply across the construction sector, optimizing collaborations between companies, suppliers, and professionals.
Using artificial intelligence and machine learning, Bolsterup builds a dynamic, continuously evolving data ecosystem that analyses project groups, products, collaborations, and geographical data. This enables more efficient decision-making, particularly for emerging projects. Its tools benefit both demand-side users, who gain deeper market insights and cost savings, and supply-side users, who can discover new business opportunities and generate high-quality leads.
The new funding will allow Bolsterup to integrate next-gen AI technologies, including automated data collection and AI agents that deliver personalized analytics, support team formation, and enable precision in project and partner matching. These innovations aim to simplify the decision-making process while opening up new growth paths for suppliers.
“We're on a mission to bring the construction industry into the digital era, making data and professional connections more accessible, transparent, and efficient,” said Ioanna Krasia, CEO and Co-founder of Bolsterup. “With Uni.Fund's support, we’re ready to expand our footprint and solidify our position as the go-to platform for construction professionals.”
According to Sotiris Papantonopoulos-Mantopoulos, Partner at Uni.Fund, the decision to back Bolsterup stems from the startup’s strong market entry, clear growth strategy, and use of AI to solve critical industry pain points. “Bolsterup is redefining how construction professionals connect, collaborate, and scale,” he noted. “We’re excited to support them through this next growth phase.”
