The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), a member of the OEB, successfully held its Annual General Assembly on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, with the participation of numerous guests from the IT sector.

The event was addressed by OEB's Director General, Mr. Michalis Antoniou, and Senior Officer, Mr. Stavros Tsiakkouris, representing the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy. In his remarks, Chief Scientist Mr. Dimitris Skourides highlighted, among other topics, the strategic initiatives being promoted in relation to Artificial Intelligence.

Following this, the President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dimitris Nisiotis, presented the Annual Report, emphasizing the association’s significant achievements over the past year.

The event concluded with a presentation by Dr. Savvas Chatzichristofi, professor at Neapolis University Pafos, on the topic: "The AI Revolution in IT Companies: From Design to Promotion."
