Cyprus Opens Applications for Digital Nomad Visa Scheme
Non-EU Nationals Can Now Apply to Live and Work Remotely from Cyprus Under the Digital Nomad Visa Program
The Department of Migration of the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection has officially announced the launch of the application process for residence permits under the “Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa” scheme.
According to the announcement, the scheme targets nationals from countries outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It allows eligible individuals to reside in Cyprus, provided that their services are delivered remotely using information and communication technologies (ICT) for companies or clients based abroad.
The purpose of the scheme is to position Cyprus as a hub for digital services. By leveraging the country’s existing advantages, the attraction of digital nomads is expected to support the growth of the business ecosystem and, consequently, contribute to the country’s economic development.
The Department of Migration invites interested individuals to visit its website for more information and access to the relevant application forms.
