During a recent visit to Abu Dhabi, Cyprus’s Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, Nicodemos Damianou, along with Chief Scientist Demetris Skourides, engaged in productive discussions with leading tech companies Bayanat and other G42 affiliates.
The meetings focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in artificial intelligence, smart mobility, and data center infrastructure. The delegation discussed leveraging AI to enhance Cyprus's public sector and position the island as a strategic gateway for international businesses into Europe.
The visit also included a tour of Khazna Data Centers and a demonstration of Bayanat's autonomous vehicles, showcasing the technological advancements and sustainability efforts of Abu Dhabi's tech sector.
