The Technology and Creativity Festival, "Maker Fair", returns in June for its second consecutive year, organized by the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, part of the Cyprus Youth Organization. 

The "Maker Fair" is based on the Maker Movement, and aims to cultivate a culture of creation, encouraging experimentation and construction in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) fields, digital skills, innovation and design.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 16:00 to 22:00, at the innovative technology, creativity, and education space of Youth Makerspace Larnaka, in the center of Larnaka. Professionals and amateur creators, makers, organizations, and entities from various fields will come together in a pleasant environment of inspiration and idea development. 

Youth Makerspace Larnaka extends an open invitation to professionals and amateur creators to apply for participation in the upcoming "Maker Fair 2024" and showcase their work and/or creations.

The open call is aimed at individuals or groups from the fields of design, engineering, construction, art, interactive technology, social innovation, as well as other relevant categories. Selected creators will be hosted in designated spaces during the event to present and promote original ideas and/or products, as well as demonstrate the use of technological equipment. 

The presence of creators at the "Maker Fair 2024" aims to strengthen the makers community and support artistic production. Participants will have the opportunity to promote their work and business, meet experts, professionals and organizations, and engage with the large and enthusiastic audience that supports the festival.

• Interested individuals must be between 18 and 35 years old. 
• The proposal selected to be hosted at the festival will not exceed ten (10) in number. 
• Each maker can exhibit up to three (3) works.
• The size of constructions must not exceed a total of 2x2x2m.
• The transportation, creation or presentation costs of the works are not covered by the Youth Makerspace Larnaka and are the responsibility of the participants themselves. 
• The presence of participants and their works is exclusively for the duration of the "Maker Fair". 
• Youth Makerspace Larnaka reserves the right to use photographic and video material for the promotion of the Youth Makerspace Larnaka program of the Cyprus Youth Organisation and the "Maker Fair" festival. 
• Works/Creations exhibited at the "Maker Fair 2024" are not allowed to be offered for sale during the festival.
