PwC Cyprus Is Again at the Heart of Technology
PwC Cyprus Gold Sponsor of Reflect Festival 2024
For one more year, PwC Cyprus, practically and substantially, supported the Reflect Festival which took place on 30-31 May, in Limassol. The company was the Gold Sponsor of the Reflect Festival 2024, which has established itself as the ultimate technology and business festival in our country.
The CEO of PwC Cyprus, Philippos Soseilos, participated in a fireside discussion with Tony Jamous, CEO and co-founder of the fast-growing company, Oyster. The discussion included how impact-driven businesses not only can achieve better financial results and more loyal clients, but can also achieve higher levels of employee engagement as well as a thriving corporate culture.
Cleo Papadopoulou, Partner, Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer and Chief Learning Officer of PwC Cyprus, moderated the TechIsland panel discussion surrounding the current issue of retaining an organization’s talent but also being able to attract new talent. Equally as important was the roundtable discussion presented by Maria Georgiou, Head of PwC Cyprus Academy. The discussion focused on issues related to opportunities on how to develop the skills of the workforce.
Konstantina Ioannou, Assistant Manager, Advisory, PwC Cyprus, participated in a discussion with Dr Sotiris Themistocleous, Director of Strategic Development of the Center of Social Innovation (CSI) during which the topic of how technology can contribute to addressing important social issues through targeted initiatives and innovative solutions, was analyzed. Additionally, in another workshop, Konstantina Ioannou analyzed the perspectives of the development and financing of startup companies with special emphasis on state and European funding programs. In the modern era that is constantly being flooded by new business ideas, executives of PwC Cyprus, Marios Tsialis Director of Deals, and Christina Kyriakou, Senior Manager, Deals, analyzed for attendees how they can create a business plan that will guide them to make the appropriate decisions and will protect them from various issues that may arise during their business journey.
For another year, PwC Cyprus brought the spearhead of its technological solutions to the Reflect Festival’s exhibition space with its one of a kind Experience Center which was transported to the festival grounds enabling visitors to explore new worlds and the metaverse. Visitors were also able to interact within virtual rooms through augmented reality and experience innovative and interactive solutions. They had the opportunity to map their customer journeys on an interactive screen based on the values of customer experience and be invited to co-create solutions with the PwC Experience Center team. Yiannis Lapatas, Director of the Experience Center, together with his team, welcomed visitors to the specially designed space of the festival and presented methodologies and design solutions that combine customer experience strategy with technology support, always keeping the human element at the center.
