Greek Startup Revolutionizes Tattoo Design with Augmented Reality

Inkjin Combines Art and Technology, Offering a Unique AR Tattoo Experience

Inkjin, a Greek startup redefining the intersection of art and technology, has introduced an innovative experience in the world of tattoos, using augmented reality (AR).

According to the company’s announcement, the Inkjin app transforms how individuals design, choose, and get inspired by tattoos. Available on both the App Store and Google Play, the app allows users to “try on” tattoos in real-time on their bodies, offering a personalized and immersive approach.

With access to over 1,500 original designs and partnerships with 65 top tattoo artists, Inkjin ensures a wide range of options for users seeking creative and professional tattoo experiences.

“Inkjin isn’t just an app; it’s a new approach that places Greece on the global innovation map, where art meets technology,” said Elias Hatzis, Founder of Inkjin. “Tattoos are deeply personal and creative decisions. Our goal was to create an experience that simplifies the tattoo process while making it exciting and immersive,” he added.

The app integrates several key features:

  • AR Technology: Users can visualize tattoos on their bodies before committing, eliminating doubts.

  • Artist Connectivity: Instant access to top tattoo artists based on location and user preferences.

  • Reliability and Security: A trusted platform ensuring high-quality designs and professional connections.

Expanding Features and Artist Tools

By February 2025, Inkjin plans to introduce payment capabilities and appointment booking directly through the app. Additionally, the team is developing a dedicated platform for tattoo artists. This platform will allow artists to manage their profiles, designs, and appointments efficiently, providing them with a comprehensive tool to support their business growth.
