Through these certifications, the Bank confirms that it operates in accordance with high international standards, ensures compliance with the Legislative and Regulatory Framework, and remains committed to improving its environmental performance and responsible business conduct at every level.

ISO 14001:2015 provides the framework for consistent monitoring and reduction of environmental impacts, promoting the rational use of resources and the continuous improvement of the Bank’s environmental performance. Its application is a key tool in Alpha Bank Cyprus’ efforts to achieve sustainable development and significantly reduce its ecological footprint.

Certification under ISO 45001:2018 confirms that the Bank implements a modern and comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which covers all its premises and takes into account both employees and third parties—such as customers and external partners—within its workplaces. By applying this System, the Bank ensures immediate risk assessment and management, effective response to emergency situations, active employee participation in improving working conditions, and continuous training on health and safety matters.
