The deadline for submitting applications for the grant scheme aimed at energy upgrades and enhancing the competitiveness of large enterprises has been extended until September 20, 2024, at 23:59.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, the total amount allocated for the scheme, which is implemented within the framework of Measures C3.1I7 and C6.1I5 of Cyprus's Recovery and Resilience Plan, amounts to €17 million. Of this, €10 million comes from the new EU REPowerEU plan through the corresponding RRP Cyprus fund, thus covering only eligible expenses that align with the goals of REPowerEU.

Applications and the necessary supporting documents must be submitted exclusively through MECI's online Grant Scheme System at https://fundingapps.meci.gov.cy. Priority will be determined based on the order of submission (immediate evaluation), and the maximum amount of approvals will not exceed the available budget of the scheme.
