Crystal Springs Beach Hotel in Protaras Plans €13.5 Million Expansion and Upgrade

Derova Ltd Proposes Modernization and Capacity Increase Pending Environmental Impact Assessment Approval

The Crystal Springs Beach Hotel in Protaras is set for a substantial expansion and modernization as part of a €13.5 million development project announced by Derova Ltd. The initiative seeks to upgrade the hotel’s infrastructure, expand its capacity, and enhance guest amenities—subject to the approval of an Environmental Impact Assessment.

Located in the Vrysoudia area within the Municipality of Paralimni, the hotel currently operates with 175 rooms, including 144 double rooms or suites and 36 family-sized accommodations. The expansion will cover a 14,858 square metre plot, encompassing both the existing hotel site and an adjacent lot designated for the new structure.

At the core of the expansion is a new 26-metre-high building comprising a basement, ground floor, and six upper levels. This will be integrated with the existing hotel, which has a basement, ground floor, mezzanine, and five floors, with a height of 23 metres.

If approved, construction is expected to take approximately 12 months from the official launch of the project.
