CCCI Wins Abolition Of Stamping For Procurement

New Rule Cuts Costs And Boosts Efficiency In Public Tenders

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has secured the abolition of stamping for public procurement tenders.

CCCI announced that it achieved a significant facilitation for businesses and its partners, as contracts for public procurement tenders for the purchase of supplies no longer require stamping.

This development, which, according to a CCCI statement, is the result of its coordinated efforts, "reduces the administrative and financial burden on businesses, improving the procurement process and enhancing both efficiency and transparency."

CCCI thanks the Republic's General Accounting Office for its support and cooperation in this effort. It notes that this new regulation will boost business activity and improve its members' relations with the public sector.
