Cyprus and Jordan Discuss Economic Cooperation
High-Level Meeting Focuses on Regional Developments and Future Collaboration
The economy and regional developments were the focus of Tuesday's meeting at the Ministry of Finance, where Cypriot Finance Minister Makis Keravnos and the Jordanian Ambassador to Cyprus, Basheer F. Zoubi, convened.
Minister Keravnos, in his statement following the meeting, mentioned that they exchanged views on various topics concerning both countries, including regional developments that affect them. He emphasized the traditional friendship and strong relations between Cyprus and Jordan, discussing further promotion of cooperation in areas such as economy, tourism, investments, and more.
"I hope that our relations will continue and our cooperation will become even closer on all the issues that concern us," he concluded.
On his part, the Jordanian Ambassador highlighted that the meeting aligns with the excellent relations between the two countries at the highest level, recalling the recent visit of President Christodoulides to Amman.
He noted that the discussions covered the economy and regional developments that are of mutual interest and concern. The Ambassador remarked on the longstanding friendship between Cyprus and Jordan, underlining both countries' desire to collaborate towards a better future for all.
