Cyprus Enhances Cybersecurity in SMEs with New €1 Million Funding Program
Empowering Small and Medium Enterprises with Advanced Cybersecurity Measures
The Digital Security Authority (DSA), serving as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY) in the Republic of Cyprus, in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), has announced the launch of a new funding program titled "Enhancing Cybersecurity in Cypriot Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) 2023". The program is endowed with a budget of €1 million.
According to the announcement, the initiative aims to bolster the security level and ensure optimal protection of infrastructure, systems, and information belonging to Cypriot SMEs, ultimately strengthening their resilience.
Additionally, the program seeks to certify SMEs in compliance with European and international measures and criteria, as defined by the NCC-CY’s Cyber Hygiene Framework for SMEs.
The funding for each project ranges from a minimum of €20,000 to a maximum of €60,000.
This program is co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union’s "Digital Europe" Program.
