Cyprus Showcased Food Products at Gulfood 2025 Exhibition in Dubai
25 Cypriot Companies Presented Premium Local Products at World's Leading Food and Beverage Event
The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry, through the Cyprus Trade Centre in Dubai, participated with a national pavilion at the 30th edition of Gulfood, the international food and beverage exhibition held in Dubai between February 17 and 21, 2025.
According to an official announcement, Cyprus once again had a strong presence at the event, featuring 25 Cypriot companies within the national pavilion. Gulfood 2025 hosted 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries and welcomed more than 100,000 visitors. Cypriot exhibitors showcased a variety of local products, highlighting the rich gastronomic heritage and high-quality standards of the country.
Visitors to the Cypriot pavilion had the opportunity to explore and sample an impressive selection of products, including world-renowned halloumi, fresh and organic dairy products, premium olive oils, fresh Cypriot potatoes, bulgur wheat, frozen bakery goods, popcorn, snacks, nuts, and fruit juices.
To further enhance the visibility of participating companies and facilitate future collaborations, informational material was distributed at the pavilion, including a promotional booklet and a dedicated article highlighting Cyprus’s participation. The article was also published in one of the most widely-read local newspapers.
Additionally, during the exhibition, the Cypriot participants and the Commercial Counselor of Cyprus held important meetings with local authorities, discussing opportunities for promoting exports of Cypriot products both to the United Arab Emirates and throughout the broader Gulf region.
According to the announcement, the next Gulfood exhibition will take place across two separate venues from January 26-30, 2026, to accommodate the increased demand for participation.
