Eurobank Group Invests in Cypriot Society

€2 Million Project for People with Disabilities and Adults with Autism

Eurobank Group proves it is more than a banking institution — it is a committed ally of Cypriot society, showing genuine care for people, their needs, and their dreams.

Eurobank Group once again demonstrates its active and dynamic support for society, proving that its mission goes beyond banking services and economic growth. The Group embraces the community, investing in dignity, inclusion, and improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups.

Creation of a Day Care Center for People with Disabilities and Two Independent Living Homes for Adults with Autism

With a project exceeding €2 million, Eurobank Group is establishing a Day Care Center for People with Disabilities and two Independent Living Homes for adults with autism. For Eurobank, being present in a country means caring, contributing, and creating real conditions for a better tomorrow for all.

Eurobank’s investment in Hellenic Bank is not merely a business move. It is a conscious decision to support Cypriot society, reflecting the Group’s intention to contribute meaningfully — not only to economic growth but also to improving people’s everyday lives. This remarkable project is yet another important link in Eurobank Group’s chain of social initiatives.

The program is being carried out in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare, which will take over the operation of the facilities once completed by Eurobank, offering specialized programs and professional staff. It is a comprehensive social initiative designed to provide quality care and genuine integration for vulnerable individuals.

At the Day Care Center, people with disabilities over the age of 21 will have access to a safe and supportive environment. Programs will include social integration, psychological empowerment, and creative engagement, aiming to develop skills and encourage active participation in society.

At the same time, the two Independent Living Homes will serve adults with autism, giving them the opportunity to live autonomously and with dignity in specially designed spaces, supported by trained personnel and individualized care plans.

Eurobank Group is fully financing the project, overseeing and managing its construction to ensure quality and timely completion.

Investing in People and Dreams

Through its active involvement in Cypriot social affairs, Eurobank Group is investing in people, in needs, and in dreams. This initiative highlights the vital role the private sector can play in society and stands as a model worth emulating.

This initiative is not a one-off. It is part of Eurobank Group’s long-standing Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, which rests on three pillars: environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and good corporate governance. Guided by this philosophy, the Group is committed to contributing positively to social progress and well-being.

With vision, sincere interest, and an enduring commitment to the common good, Eurobank Group seeks to leave a meaningful mark on Cypriot society. This new initiative is yet another act of genuine contribution — reaffirming the Group’s commitment to act not only as a banking organization but also as a true ally to society, with a lasting presence and tangible support for people.
