Today, the development of Larnaca Port and Marina is under discussion in parliament and during meetings between local stakeholders and the Minister of Transport, Communications, and Works, Alexis Vafeades.

The Parliamentary Transport Committee convened urgently at 9:30 AM to discuss the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the unified development plan for Larnaca Port and Marina following the signing of contracts and the handover of the state port to a private investor. Attendees included Mr. Vafeades, the Auditor General Odysseas Michaelides, and representatives from Kition Ocean Holdings Ltd.

Additionally, at 4:00 PM, the Minister of Transport will meet with the Larnaca City and District Development Committee at the Larnaca Municipality's Multispace Centre to discuss the issue.

Meanwhile, at 9:00 AM, the President of DISY, Annita Demetriou, met with employees of Kition at the company's facilities.
