The Board of Directors of the Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) is set to meet at 10:00 AM on Tuesday to discuss the issue of the natural gas terminal in Vasilikos.

ETYFA Vice President and Chairman of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), George Petrou, said that "tomorrow morning, we will proceed with the decision to call for bids for the hiring of a technical consultant (Project Manager) for the terminal project."

"The text of the bid has already been drafted, and tomorrow the Board of Directors will approve it," he noted.

Mr. Petrou mentioned that this is the first necessary step concerning the project and added that "the technical consultant will guide ETYFA and oversee the contractors."

He also stated that after the bid for the technical consultant, ETYFA will proceed with bids for the project contractors.
