Passenger traffic in June 2024 at Larnaca and Paphos airports reached 1,300,041 passengers, marking a 5.04% increase compared to 2023, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works announced on Wednesday.

"The passenger traffic for the first half of the year has shown the best performance historically, approaching 5.1 million passengers," the statement added.

Total traffic at Larnaca Airport increased by 6.00%, while Paphos Airport saw a 2.99% rise.

Aircraft movements increased by 4.2% compared to 2023, totaling 9,347 flights.
