According to a statement from the Foundation, the competition "Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus" will distribute the total prize money among the winners as follows:
-
1st Prize: €100,000
-
2nd Prize: €60,000

Eligibility criteria specify that applicants must be under the age of 34 and must have founded a company within the Republic of Cyprus in the last five years with an annual turnover of at least €40,000. Notably, the awards are open to young entrepreneurs of any nationality.
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou emphasized that Cyprus’s younger generation possesses the strength, creativity, and courage to innovate and reshape the country's business landscape. “Through these awards, we encourage young people to take risks, be bold, and share their business ideas,” he stated.
The aim, he added, is for the Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus to serve as a powerful catalyst for youth-driven enterprises that can endure over time, generate employment, and strengthen the Cypriot economy. “Entrepreneurship is a driver of change, and the young people of Cyprus deserve every opportunity to leverage it,” he said.
