Trump Shares Article on IMEC Corridor, Emphasizing the Role of Cyprus and Greece
The IMEC Corridor will connect India to Europe.
In a post on Truth Social, the President of the United States shared a Breitbart News article addressing the strategic importance of the IMEC Corridor, which will connect India to Europe.

The article specifically highlights the critical role Greece and Cyprus will play as a "connecting link," bridging these distant regions to the European Union through a maritime corridor.
According to sources, the IMEC Corridor was discussed during a recent meeting between Greece's Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis and his US counterpart Marco Rubio at the State Department.
The article presents insights from Greece’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Cyprus’s Foreign Minister, who spoke with Breitbart News’ Washington Bureau Chief, Matthew Boyle, during an event organized by the Delphi Forum in collaboration with HALC in the US capital. In this context, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Papadopoulou asserted that all necessary elements to establish the maritime corridor are already in place.
“It is the '3+1' framework involving Cyprus, Israel, Greece, and the United States. This framework is further strengthened by Greece's strategic relationship with Israel, its strategic ties with India, and excellent relations with Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Thus, all puzzle pieces are in position. Greece and Cyprus can serve as the crucial link uniting this region with the European Union through a corridor offering political stability, economic openness—given our free-market status as EU members—and a robust alliance with the United States,” Papadopoulou explained.
Finally, the Breitbart News article noted that the Foreign Minister of Cyprus and Greece’s Deputy Foreign Minister expressed optimism regarding Donald Trump's potential re-election. They believe it would further enhance economic cooperation and peace agreements in the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East regions.
