Oil: WTI Drops 5% Despite New US Strikes on Iran
The Price Of Us Crude Oil (Wti) Recorded Losses Exceeding 5% In Asian Markets.
The price of a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the benchmark US crude variety, fell by more than 5% during trading in Tokyo earlier today, despite reports that US armed forces carried out new airstrikes in southern Iran.
At around 03:30 Cyprus time, the price of WTI was down 5.46%, at $91.33 per barrel, shortly after the announcement by the US military.
