The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) hosted the award ceremony for the students who excelled in this year’s competitions organized by the Cyprus Mathematical Society.

The event took place on Saturday, May 10, at the university’s amphitheater in Paphos. In attendance were AUB Mediterraneo President Dr. Wassim El Hajj, Mayor of Paphos Phedonas Phedonos, President of the Cyprus Mathematical Society Grigoris Makrides, distinguished guests, and a large number of students along with their families.

The ceremony was moderated by Dr. Georgios Charalambous, Professor of Mathematics at AUB Mediterraneo and Organizing Secretary of the Cyprus Mathematical Society.
