More than 4,000 individuals, mortgage borrowers of Alpha Bank Cyprus, benefited from a total savings exceeding €3 million through the bank’s Mortgage Borrowers Reward Program. This program was implemented on August 1, 2023, and concluded on July 31, 2024.

In a statement from the bank, it was noted that the program targeted mortgage borrowers who participated by capping the variable base interest rate agreed upon in their respective mortgage contracts, as it was on March 31, 2023, reduced by 20 basis points for one year.

Throughout the program, over 4,000 customers of the bank took advantage of the reduced interest rates while being shielded from base rate increases.
