ECB Cuts Interest Rates For Third Time Since June
Lowers Deposit Rate To 3% As Eurozone Inflation And Economic Activity Slow
This marks the third cut since June. The deposit rate now stands at 3%. The European Central Bank proceeded with its second consecutive interest rate cut by 25 basis points (a quarter of a percentage point) today, following the one in September, as inflation and the Eurozone economy declined more than expected in September.
