AdTech Holding & City Friends Club Organize Clean-Up Event in Limassol
Other CSR Initiatives Are Set to Follow
AdTech Holding & City Friends Club recently joined forces in a significant eco-initiative by organizing a clean-up event in Limassol last February. Their collaborative effort aimed at addressing the growing waste issues that plague the island, as solid waste production has surged from 543,000 tonnes in 2020 to nearly 650,000 tonnes in 2021.
Since 2011, AdTech Holding has been an innovative firm dedicated to establishing varied startup ecosystems within the digital marketing sector, by also collaborating with forward-thinking digital marketing initiatives to actualize advanced concepts and bring about a revolution in the market. Its focus has centered on providing cutting-edge technologies to the worldwide MarTech sector, by combining the most inventive and varied talents with groundbreaking applied AI, expert systems and extensive data science.
The latest clean-up event was the third installment of such an initiative, which took place at the Moni coast, a scenic beach area near Limassol. The dedicated team of AdTech employees, alongside the passionate volunteers from City Friends Club, made a remarkable effort and impact, as they successfully collected 4 bags of PMD, 70 bags of general waste, and 800 kilos of household waste, totaling to 1000 kilos of waste. This initiative goes beyond individual responsibility for AdTech Holding, as it showcases a collective aspiration to instigate broader change.
Maria Yashina, Head of MarComms and Brand Management at AtTech Holdings, emphasizes the company’s global aim by stating: “Definitely, all of us want to live on a greener and cleaner island, and we are ready to apply our efforts and time for that. However, a more global aim we are pursuing is increasing awareness of the waste issue in Cyprus and motivating other companies to join us.”
The company believes that corporations, especially influential entities, can significantly contribute to the common well-being and preservation of our planet
AdTech Holding’s commitment to environmental sustainability extends beyond clean-up events. The company believes that corporations, especially influential entities, can significantly contribute to the common well-being and preservation of our planet. In addition to regular clean-ups, the company actively sorts waste in its office, conducts educational eco-programs for employees and supports developers working towards a greener Cyprus. It sets an example of how corporations can utilize media and financial resources to contribute to the positive impact of communities, while demonstrating the transformative power of such initiatives.
As part of their continued commitment to environmental causes, AdTech Holding visited the Sirius Dog Sanctuary in March, as a further demonstration of the importance of companies supporting such endeavors, and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature, while contributing to a greater good.
