The "Tourism Cares" initiative is organizing over 50 cleanup actions across Cyprus in anticipation of World Tourism Day on the 27th of the month.

According to a press release, the initiative's activities are part of the "Keep our Sand and Sea Plastic Free" project, aiming to mobilize tourism businesses across Cyprus to take action against plastic pollution and waste.

The initiative encourages hotels, restaurants, and other tourism businesses to organize beach or public space cleanup campaigns, involving both their guests and staff. They can also support existing cleanup efforts.
