IDAHOBIT 2026 is an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of respect, dignity, and equal rights for all, Cyprus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on X.

The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is observed on 17 May and aims to coordinate international events that raise awareness of LGBTQ rights violations and stimulate interest in LGBTQ rights work worldwide.

"Cyprus remains committed to supporting a society where everyone can enjoy their rights freely and equally," the Ministry adds.
