Platy Valley can justifiably be ranked among the most beautiful valleys on our island. Located between the villages of Milikouri, Kaminaria, and Agios Nikolaos, approximately 15 kilometers from Platres, it is a lush green valley of exceptional beauty, making it an ideal setting for hiking.

Winter walks offer the advantage of more water in the stream and fewer cars in the valley, but the mild weather we’re currently experiencing will reward you with vibrant colors, captivating scents, and breathtaking landscapes.

In the valley, you'll encounter pine and plane trees, abundant with fruits, as well as fig trees. You may even come across frogs, freshwater crabs, or, if you're lucky, wild mouflon!

Before your hike, consider visiting one of the three painted churches of Troodos, which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the area.
