Echoes of Light: Sistema Cyprus and YKAN Present Two Inspiring December Concerts
Youth Orchestras Unite to Promote Music Education, Prevention, and Social Impact at the Pallas Theatre
The Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) of the Cyprus Police, in collaboration with the socio-music orchestra program Sistema Cyprus, is organizing two unique concerts titled “Echoes of Light”, a musical journey filled with strength and inspiration.
The young musicians of Sistema Cyprus will take the stage at the Pallas Theatre on 13 and 14 December 2025, to share with the audience the joy of music and the beauty of collective creation. The performances will feature both classical and contemporary works by composers such as Jean Sibelius, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Georges Bizet, and Evagoras Karageorgis. The concert will be held under the direction of the maestro and artistic director of Sistema Cyprus, Santiago Ossa Alzate.

Saturday, 13 December, 6:00 p.m.: The Junior Orchestra will take us on a journey through a repertoire full of energy, color, and hope.

Sunday, 14 December, 6:00 p.m.: The Intermediate Orchestras of Sistema Cyprus, with children from Larnaca and Nicosia, will join forces for an evening that promises to be unforgettable.
The collaboration between YKAN and Sistema Cyprus highlights the power of prevention and music education as tools for social empowerment and positive change. Through this partnership, the two organizations inspire, unite, and equip young people with the means to build a bright and creative future.
