The “MoonWalk 2025: Eclipse Edition” will take place this Sunday, September 7, in Protaras. Now in its ninth year, the festival is organized by the Paralimni Youth Council in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni–Deryneia.

According to the organizers, MoonWalk is one of Cyprus’ largest street music festivals. This year’s edition will be especially memorable as it coincides with a full moon and a total lunar eclipse, creating a magical atmosphere for all participants.

Stretching across a 6-kilometer coastal route, from Agios Nikolaos in Pernera to the enchanting Nausicaa Bay, the festival will feature more than 29 stages hosting:

• Live music performances

• Dance shows

• Artistic installations and surprises

Highlights include:

• Photo Booth

• Fire Show

• Sand Art displays

• Violin Echoes at Heart Station

• Moon-themed documentaries for both children and adults

Over 15,000 visitors are anticipated to join the walk along the Protaras seafront promenade, immersing themselves in this one-of-a-kind cultural celebration.

The event will start at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, last for approximately three hours, and admission is free to the public.
