Dance House Lemesos is delighted to announce this year's edition of Open House International Festival of Contemporary Dance and Performance, taking place in Limassol from October 2 to 5, 2025.

This year’s festival features a vibrant program including performances, happenings, walking-based actions, music, parallel events, and new collaborations. The 16th Open House Festival unfolds across stages, streets, beaches, and parks, presenting both local and international productions.

At the heart of the festival lies the body, its landscapes and stories, as tools for art, resistance, and connection. It's a four-day celebration of movement and reflection—an open invitation for the public to experience contemporary performance through fresh, unexpected paths.

Open Call: “Dear Festival & Friends” Let’s “write” the festival together!

“Dear Festival & Friends” is a performative writing program that accompanies and feeds back into the festival’s main artistic content. Now in its third year, it invites you to become part of its creative team.

The program – curated and guided by Rodia Vomvolou (dance dramaturg, researcher) and Betina Panagiotara (dance theorist, dramaturg) – aims to activate critical thinking and creative writing through the experience of the festival’s performances. Through the practice of letter writing, Dear Festival & Friends creates a space for reflection and feedback, both for the festival and for those who participate.

Who can participate:

Artists, students, writers, researchers, journalists, audience members—anyone interested in performative writing and critical dialogue around the performing arts.

No previous writing experience is required. The program is open to past members of the working group. Workshop Dates: October 2–5

Indicative Hours: Thursday & Friday: 13:30–17:30 / Saturday & Sunday: 11:00–15:00
