The 2nd Kerkida Padel Tournament is about to electrify Nicosia with three days of high-energy matches, social vibes, and prizes worth €3,000. From September 5 to 7, the Social Padel Club (Eleon) will host players across five categories, in a celebration that blends sport, lifestyle, and community.
Padel has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s most dynamic sports, and Cyprus is riding the wave. Unlike traditional racket sports, it’s remarkably accessible: you don’t need years of training to enjoy it, and its doubles format naturally creates a social, team-driven environment. This balance of competitiveness and inclusivity explains why padel courts are popping up across the island and why tournaments like this one are drawing both seasoned players and newcomers.
This year’s tournament, organized by Kerkida in collaboration with La Roche Posay, raises the stakes with five categories:
