Protaras Summer Film Festival Returns for Its 11th Edition This July

The iconic Protaras Summer Film Festival is back for its 11th edition, transforming the heart of the island’s top summer destination into a vibrant open-air cinema from July 9 to 27, 2025.
Hosted at Lefkolla Square, the festival is a highlight of Cyprus’ cultural calendar, drawing in both international visitors and locals from across the island. Organized once again by the energetic team of Paralimni Youth, this year’s event promises 19 consecutive nights of must-watch movies — from recent blockbusters to sneak peeks of upcoming releases.
Screenings will take place on the largest cinema screen in Cyprus, complete with top-tier visual and audio equipment that ensures an immersive experience under the stars.
Admission is free, and festivalgoers can enjoy snacks and refreshments from on-site kiosks. All you need to bring is good company and a love for film.
