PwC Cyprus once again took center stage at Reflect Festival 2025, held on 15-16 May in Limassol, reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation and leadership in the business world. As a sponsor of the largest technology and business festival in Cyprus, PwC Cyprus played a pivotal role in exploring key trends and challenges shaping the future.

Reflect Festival 2025 attracted a diverse audience of thought leaders, entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts, and professionals from across industries, making it a unique platform for exchanging ideas and insights on the intersection of business and technology.

One of the event’s highlights was the fireside chat on “the future of leadership in the new world”, featuring Philippos Soseilos, CEO of PwC Cyprus, and Tony Jamous, CEO and co-founder of Oyster. The session was held on Thursday, 15 May and attracted significant attention, as the two leaders discussed the evolving nature of leadership in today’s fast-paced and interconnected world.

On the same day, Andreas Papadopoulos, from PwC Cyprus’ Business Consulting team, led a highly interactive roundtable discussion titled "The World is Changing, How Ready Are You?". The session focused on the rapid evolution of the business landscape and the need for companies to stay proactive and prepared.

Participants discussed the increasing complexity of market dynamics, driven by technological advancements, changing consumer expectations, and global economic shifts. 

On Friday 16 May, the spotlight shifted to cybersecurity, as Christos Menelaou and Christiana Kyriacou from PwC Cyprus’ Advisory team hosted an informative workshop titled "Cyber Security Regulations: NIS2 and DORA". The session addressed the latest regulatory developments in the cybersecurity domain, specifically focusing on the Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The speakers provided practical advice on how organizations can align their cybersecurity practices with these new regulations to enhance their resilience against cyber threats.

It is noteworthy that PwC Cyprus played a significant role in the agenda of the Reflect Festival through our speakers Cleo Papadopoulou & Vassilios Vrachimis. Our Partners were invited to participate in various and diverse roundtable discussions. 

Cleo Papadopoulou, Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer at PwC Cyprus, took part in the panel discussion on Friday 16 May, titled "DEI without the politics: Focusing on what really drives business success." The conversation delved into what impactful and measurable DEI looks like when integrated into business strategy. With its global influence and innovative culture, fintech is exceptionally placed to progress beyond mere compliance toward inclusion that enhances performance, retention, and growth.

Vassilios Vrachimis, Head of Technology & Transformation at PwC Cyprus, was a participant in the panel discussion on Thursday 15 May, titled "Fuel for Founders: Building a Startup Nation." This panel delved into essential policy tools and ecosystem enhancements required to foster startup success, including digital nomad visas, stock options, and strategies for attracting venture capital while featuring insights from investors, policymakers, and successful entrepreneurs.

Once again, PwC Cyprus brought its innovative technological solutions to the exhibition space of the Reflect Festival. The unique Experience Center offered visitors the opportunity to explore Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and discover pioneering the diverse range of available services. Sophia, the Experience Center’s AI assistant was this year’s highlight, with visitors having insightful conversations with her. 

The Experience Center team welcomed participants to the specially designed space, presenting methodologies and design solutions that combine customer experience strategy with technological innovation, always keeping the human element at the forefront.
