€600K Contract Signed

The Municipality of Larnaca signed a contract for the supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of a cutting-edge smart parking access and management system. The project, exceeding €600,000 in value, aims to transform public parking by increasing efficiency and user-friendliness.

According to a municipal announcement, the contract was signed at the Municipality's offices by Mayor Andreas Vyras and Marios Stavrides, the Legal Representative of the company YTM STAVRIDES LTD.

The new system will feature advanced management software that enables seamless and effective parking control, supports dynamic pricing, and includes special configurations for designated visitor groups. By implementing a ticketless model, the Municipality of Larnaca seeks to improve the overall accessibility and operational efficiency of public parking spaces.

Real-Time Parking Updates via Mobile App

Through a dedicated mobile application, users will be able to receive real-time updates on parking space availability, making the process faster and more convenient. The system’s communication infrastructure will be secure and will function smoothly in real-time across all connected parking areas.

The total value of the contract amounts to €599,000 excluding VAT, with a 7% maintenance fee based on collections. The contract was awarded following a public tender process, with YTM STAVRIDES LTD selected as the most cost-effective bidder.
