A Night of Art and Culture in Larnaka
Over 350 guests attended the opening night of artist Michalis Pantelidis’ solo exhibition, held on Thursday, June 5th, at the historic Pierides Museum in Larnaka.
The exhibition, held in collaboration with the Pierides Museum – Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and supported by the Larnaka Tourism Board, showcases nine new silk designs inspired by archaeological artifacts from the museum’s collection, alongside the moving photography project “People of Larnaka”, created in collaboration with acclaimed photographer Harrys Kyprianou.
Among the distinguished guests were leading figures from the fields of fashion and culture, including international model and activist Sophia Hadjipanteli, whose presence added a special tone to the evening. The Mayor of Larnaka, Mr. Andreas Vyras, also attended and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in reinforcing the city’s cultural identity.
The exhibition remains open until early September, inviting the public to explore a contemporary interpretation of Cypriot cultural heritage through fashion, art, and storytelling.
