Streaming for Strays: An Event For The Rescue Of Limassol’s Stray Cats

Raffle Tickets Will Be Sold During The Event To Support The Initiative

On Saturday, March 29, a wonderful musical afternoon will take place with Terranite CY from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elefante Café, located at 3A Nikolaou Xiouta Street, in the center of Limassol, next to the CUT university library.

A huge effort has been underway in the historic center of Limassol since last February for the neutering, care, and eventual adoption of stray cats, following repeated poisonings that occurred in spring 2024.

Over 120 neuterings have been carried out in the past 12 months in Limassol’s historic center, along with the treatment of dozens of cats and preparation for their adoption. The state of stray cats in previous years, especially after the 2024 poisonings, had been dire.

Come support this initiative for stray cats in the heart of Limassol by purchasing one or two raffle tickets, and get the chance to enter the big draw taking place on March 31.

This major raffle includes over 85 prizes worth more than €3,000, generously donated by 70+ Cypriot businesses. The goal is to sell tickets (€5 each) to help cover expenses such as neutering, hospitalization, medication, care, and more. Unfortunately, there is no government support, so it’s up to us to find ways and mechanisms to sustain this effort.

By participating in the raffle, you could win gift vouchers for clothing, footwear, sunglasses, food, wine, tattoo services, veterinary services, beauty gift boxes, spa services, massages, and much more.

Your participation will greatly support the cats — and who knows, you might even win a gift! You can contact Georgia Fragkou or directly purchase raffle tickets via Revolut/Quickpay at +357 99319151, or through this link, including your name and phone number.

Raffle tickets are also available for purchase at Elefante Café, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at 3A Nikolaou Xiouta Street, or by calling 99319151, or through Revolut or Quickpay.

All proceeds from the raffle will be made public, and you can follow the personal Instagram and Facebook accounts for further updates.
