A Swing in the Sea

A Swing in the Sea

This Summer's New Instagrammable Spot

The Sea-Swing: Protaras’ Newest Photo Gem

A simple yet striking idea is breathing new life into the Cypriot summer scenery. A wooden swing, literally placed inside the sea, is becoming the new "hotspot" for photos, already catching the eye of both visitors and locals.

This new addition is located at Louma Beach, at an idyllic spot near the Paralimni Marina, the fishing shelter, and the picturesque chapel of Agios Nikolaos Paralimniou.

The wooden swing was installed by the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, with the aim of upgrading the visitor experience and enhancing the area's image as a modern and attractive tourist destination. Notably, the structure was built by the municipality's own staff, adding a more authentic character to the initiative.

With the endless blue and the summer vibe of Protaras as a backdrop, the swing has already become one of the most popular spots for photography. Swimmers and visitors are setting up their own scenes for the perfect summer post, capturing moments of relaxation and carefree bliss.

It is a small but exceptionally clever addition that further highlights the beauty of the area, promising to evolve into one of the most talked-about spots of this summer in Cyprus.
